    Coronary heart disease (CHD) is the leading cause of death in the United States for men and women. Coronary heart disease is caused by the buildup of plaque in the arteries to your heart. This may also be called hardening of the arteries.

    Catherine Flon

    Catherine Flon was the goddaughter of Jean Jacques Dessalines and played a huge role in the Haitian Revolution as a nurse. She is not really remembered and revered as nurse, but widely recognized in all Haiti as a heroine for sewing the first Haitian Flag in Archaie and a national symbol of freedom.

Haitians Americans united for change is a non –profit organization dedicated in providing service for the Haitian American communities on Long Island.
We serve the community through advocacy and awareness on Health, Education, Culture and sustaining economic stability

VISION

H.A.U.C serves the community through outreach programs by collaborating with other agencies and/or organizations.
HAUC offers seminars, workshops and forum on issues pertaining to the community needs.
H.A.U.C seeks to serve the larger Haitian immigrant population on    Long Island
